August 2026 Robotic Surgery Convocation | Surgeons Share Their Transformative WLH Experience

The August 2026 Convocation at World Laparoscopy Hospital (WLH) marked the successful completion of an intensive robotic surgery training journey for participating surgeons and gynecologists. During the ceremony, doctors shared their experiences, highlighting the value of structured theoretical teaching, simulation-based practice, hands-on robotic exercises, and systematic development of console and bedside surgical skills.

Participants appreciated the opportunity to understand the fundamental principles of robotic surgery, including robotic instrumentation, camera control, ergonomics, port placement concepts, docking, intracorporeal suturing, tissue handling, and procedural planning. The training was designed to help surgeons develop confidence in adopting advanced robotic techniques while maintaining a strong emphasis on patient safety and sound surgical principles.

Many surgeons and gynecologists described the program as an important step in advancing their minimally invasive surgical careers. They particularly valued the combination of academic discussions, practical exercises, faculty interaction, and exposure to contemporary robotic surgical technology.

The convocation was also an opportunity to celebrate the dedication and commitment of doctors who travelled from different regions to enhance their skills in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. Their feedback reflected the importance of structured training before incorporating robotic techniques into clinical practice.

Under the academic guidance of Dr. R. K. Mishra, World Laparoscopy Hospital continues to provide advanced training opportunities in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, helping surgeons and gynecologists strengthen their technical knowledge, operative skills, and understanding of modern surgical technology.

The August 2026 batch concluded their training with certificates, memorable interactions with faculty and colleagues, and renewed enthusiasm to apply their acquired knowledge toward safer and more effective minimally invasive surgical care.
