This video demonstrate This operation is also known as stapled anopexy. A specially designed circular stapling instrument is inserted through the anus (back passage) into the rectum. . The operation pulls the swollen and prolapsing blood vessels of the hemorrhoids (piles) back into their normal position by removing a circumferential section (complete ring) of the internal rectal lining. The wound is inside the rectum causing little pain. Patients usually underwent a one-day surgical procedure, with a preoperative self-administered rectal enema on the evening before and the morning of the operation; no antibiotic prophylaxis was given.

Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids (PPH) at World Laparoscopy Hospital

Hemorrhoids and rectal prolapse are common anorectal disorders that affect millions of individuals worldwide, causing pain, bleeding, and discomfort in daily life. Traditional surgical methods for treating these conditions often involve significant post-operative pain, long recovery periods, and risk of complications. However, the Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids (PPH), also known as stapled hemorrhoidopexy, has revolutionized the treatment approach by offering a minimally invasive, effective, and patient-friendly solution. At World Laparoscopy Hospital, this advanced procedure is performed with precision, expertise, and a focus on rapid recovery.

PPH is designed to correct prolapsed hemorrhoidal tissue by repositioning it to its normal anatomical location and simultaneously reducing blood flow to hemorrhoids. Unlike conventional hemorrhoidectomy, which involves cutting and removing tissue, PPH uses a circular stapling device to excise a small ring of mucosal tissue in the rectum. This technique lifts the hemorrhoidal cushions back into their original position while minimizing pain, as the procedure avoids sensitive external anal tissue. Patients undergoing PPH often experience reduced post-operative discomfort, shorter hospital stays, and faster return to normal activities.

At World Laparoscopy Hospital, PPH is performed by highly trained laparoscopic surgeons with extensive experience in minimal access surgery. The hospital emphasizes meticulous pre-operative evaluation, including anorectal examination and imaging when necessary, to ensure the best outcomes. During the procedure, patients are given anesthesia appropriate to their health status, ensuring comfort and safety. The use of advanced laparoscopic instruments and state-of-the-art stapling devices allows surgeons to perform the procedure with high precision, reducing complications such as bleeding, infection, or recurrence.

One of the key advantages of PPH at World Laparoscopy Hospital is its holistic approach to patient care. Beyond the technical procedure, patients receive detailed post-operative guidance, including dietary recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up evaluations, all aimed at preventing recurrence and promoting long-term anorectal health. The hospital’s focus on minimally invasive techniques aligns with modern surgical standards, prioritizing patient comfort, rapid recovery, and excellent cosmetic outcomes.

In conclusion, the Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids (PPH) represents a significant advancement in the management of hemorrhoidal disease and rectal prolapse. At World Laparoscopy Hospital, patients benefit not only from a technically superior procedure but also from a comprehensive care approach that ensures safety, comfort, and optimal recovery. For individuals seeking effective and minimally invasive solutions for hemorrhoids and prolapse, PPH at this institution stands out as a reliable and patient-centered choice.
