The laparoscopic appendicectomy can be performed using one to several ports. We present our experience of two port laparoscopic cholecystectomy and appendectomy in pediatric patient. The objective was to assess the results retrospectively in terms of complications and its limitations. From our experience, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and appendicectomy using two reusable ports had good visualization, decreased rate of misdiagnosis and a short hospital stay. Contrary to the general belief, the incidence of port site wound infection was minimal.
