Dear Dr. Hafizur Rahman WLH India (Gurugram) — best for depth + continuity Best if you want maximum skill-building time and repeated practice. • Typically runs longer-format programs (e.g., ~2 weeks, starting monthly), so you get more hours to build fundamentals + advanced steps with repetition. You also nas exposure of live real cases on real patients in operation theatre at WLH Gurugram. • Flagship setup in Cyber City, Gurugram with established training ecosystem and high trainee throughput. Choose India when: you want solid progression (camera–hand coordination → dissection planes → intracorporeal suturing) and you can spare more days. WLTI Dubai (Dubai Healthcare City) — best for regulated environment + Gulf accessibility Best if you want a Dubai-based, internationally regulated training environment and easy access for GCC/ME/Africa. • Located in Dubai Healthcare City and described as holding an educational license / regulatory oversight (DHCR/DHCC). Choose Dubai when: you want structured hands-on training in a licensed setting and Dubai is logistically easiest (travel, visas, time). WLTI USA (Celebration/Orlando, Florida) — best for intensive “bootcamp” + Nicholson Center exposure Best if you want a short, high-intensity course in a major skills facility setting. • Conducted at/near AdventHealth Nicholson Center, Celebration (Florida) with an emphasis on hands-on + live tissue/animal lab style training (as described in the course outline). • Typically offered as a shorter, intensive 4-day format on specific dates (not monthly). Choose USA when: you want an immersion bootcamp, international peer group, and the Nicholson Center ecosystem. ⸻ My practical “surgeon’s” recommendation • If you are early-to-mid learning curve (especially suturing/knotting): WLH India first (more days = more muscle memory). • If you want a premium regulated Dubai setting and fast travel: WLTI Dubai. • If you want an intensive short burst and Nicholson Center exposure: WLTI USA. If you tell me your current level (basic/advanced), specialty (GS/Gyn/Uro), and how many days you can spare (4 vs 10–14), I’ll suggest the best center and a targeted syllabus (day-wise: energy devices, dissection planes, suturing drills, procedure modules). |

Key Factors to Choose the Right WLH Training Center When you are a beginner in laparoscopic surgery, the ideal training program must include: 1. Structured foundation teaching — didactic sessions + hands-on skills 2. Gradual progression from basic to advanced procedures 3. Simulator and box trainer practice 4. Live OR exposure with mentorship 5. Low trainee-to-trainer ratio 6. Certification recognized globally 7. Post-training support and guidance ⸻ ???? Comparison of WLH Training Centers 1. World Laparoscopy Hospital – Gurugram, India Best suited for beginners. ✔️ Extensive foundational program • Basic laparoscopy skills • Box trainer / simulators • Step-by-step curriculum before moving to OR ✔️ High volume of cases • More exposure to common surgical procedures • Trainees get to assist and gradually perform under supervision ✔️ Culturally comfortable environment • English/Hindi teaching medium • Easy living and focused learning ✔️ Cost-effective • Training fees and living costs are lower compared to Dubai/USA ???? For a beginner who wants strong fundamentals and confidence building, this is often the best starting point. ⸻ 2. World Laparoscopy Training Institute – Dubai Good for intermediate learners. ✔️ Excellent infrastructure ✔️ Exposure to a diverse international caseload ✔️ Modern facilities ⚠️ But: • Programs may be slightly more advanced in pace • Higher cost of living and fees • Less emphasis on very basic skills compared to WLH India ???? Best if you already have some basic competency and want an international clinical exposure. ⸻ 3. World Laparoscopy Training Institute – Orlando, USA Best for advanced/robotic training. ✔️ World-class infrastructure ✔️ Cutting-edge technology including robotics ✔️ Exposure to highly specialized procedures ⚠️ But: • Very competitive entry • Less focus on starting from absolute zero basics • Higher training costs and visa/time logistics ???? Ideal for those who have completed foundational training and are ready for advanced skills including robotics. ⸻ ???? My Recommendation for YOU As a beginner in laparoscopy who wants: ✔️ to learn from the basics ✔️ to build confidence step-by-step ✔️ to be able to operate independently on patients ➡️ I recommend starting with World Laparoscopy Hospital – Gurugram, India. This is where you will get: • A structured, beginner-friendly curriculum • Hands-on skills training • Live OR experience under close supervision • Confidence to progress safely to real surgeries Once you have the basics mastered here, you can choose: • Dubai for expanding your clinical exposure internationally • USA for advanced and robotic workshops ⸻ ???? Training Path I Suggest for You 1. Foundational Course in Gurugram • Basic laparoscopic skills • Box trainer + simulators • Initial supervised cases 2. Intermediate Course (Dubai) • More complex procedures • Broaden your operative experience 3. Advanced / Robotic Course (USA) • Higher-end technology • Specialized laparoscopic and robotic techniques |
