Dear Sir, I have applied for the November 2016 F.MAS and D.MAS course. I want to know that is there any exam to get Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery qualification.. |

Dear Dr Srinivash Our Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery is exam based qualification and to obtain this you need to pass the exam. WLH has introduced a double MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) Paper based test comprising of two parts. Part-A shall be common to all subjects comprising question on General Ergonomics, and Fundamentals of laparoscopy. Part-B shall contain subject-related conventional MCQ and contain clinical aspect of laparoscopic surgery. Part II has higher value questions that may test the candidate’s knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts of Minimal Access Surgery. Negative marking for wrong answers shall be done and pass mark will be 50%. Question will be asked from all the material and skill which already is covered in the course. If you want you can practice the exam by going to the following link: https://www.laparoscopyhospita l.com/quiz.htm If you are sincerely attend the course and practice well in lab and in operation theatre then there should not be any reason why you will not clear the exam. Topper of the exam will be awarded with prize and merit certificate as well as trophy.
