Dear Dr Pinki

Admission is on first come first serve basis but if the applicant are more for same month candidate has to take Online entrance exam. Candidates must hold M.B; B.S or equivalent and at least 3 years post-registration experience in General surgery or Gynecology or degree of M.S or M.D or DGO or DNB for Indian candidates.

After MBBS any postgraduation is required either in General surgery, Gynecology or Urology, before you will take Fellowship or Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery. Even if you have DNB you are eligible to take laparoscopic Surgery Training.

Dear Dr Maria

The qualification required to take laparoscopic, endoscopic or robotic surgery training is not similar for overseas doctors. every country has its own postgraduate system in medicine. In some country it is residency system in some another it is Fellowship and at some place it is PG qualification like Master or Diploma degree.

Like if we will discuss about United Kingdom the training required to become a consultant in U.K. is much more different than USA. Postgraduate medical education is organised and supervised by the Medical Royal Colleges, postgraduate deans and the universities, while the General Medical Council (GMC) is responsible for registration and professional standards. Royal college is taking MRCS or MRCOG exam to make specialist. In USA there is another system you need to become a Diplomate of American Board. In India there is MS, MD, or Diploma you have to earn to become specialist.

Therefore we leave the judgement of qualification of the overseas candidate on them so that according to their countries law they should be qualified surgeon, gynecologist, pediatric surgeon or urologist. Once you are qualified surgeon they are eligible to take laparoscopic or da Vinci Robotic Surgery training at World Laparoscopy Hospital.
