Dear colleague,

I would like to perform a laparoscopic hysterectomy followed by a sacrocolpopexy. I would like to enquirer about self made "Y" mesh with Polypropylene (PP) mesh. What is the dimension that i need to cut into "Y" mesh for long arm and short arm ? I know about joining the short and long arm together at the junction, to form a "Y mesh; but I do not know what is the measurement. Thank you very much

Dear Dr Chee Hoe Tan

You can use self cut 3cm X 15cm mesh. Y limb should by 5cm long. After fixing the long limb to anterior longitudinal ligament excess of mesh should be trimmed.
