Hi Sir, I read about the service your hospital is providing and it is a matter of pride for me that our country has doctors like you. I am a student based in Pune and i am doing a research on Laproscopy surgeries esp. 'Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy'. I wanted few answers from you for my research. 1.Does Lap Chole.require a ventilator as a mandatory equipment to be present at the hospital where the operation is supposed to take place ? 2.What if the inferior vena cava gets damaged (due to trocar insertion) during surgery ? What are the consequences? I shall be highly obliged if you could spare few minutes over my questions and help me in my research. Regards, Anupriya |

Hi, If we talk about medical camps in villages where lap.chole.takes place but ventilators are not available, also it is not mentioned in the list of the equipments required for this.? I can understand that ventilator is required if we are taking precautions in all aspects but there are so many hospitals which do not have ventilators and Lap. chole. takes place. I mean in this way ventilator is required for every operation as there might be chances that a patient is not able to breathe. Please help. Regards, Anupriya |
