Hi, I have 28 years. Urologist has diagnost me chronical prostatitis. In my prostate are many prostatolits. I have enteroccocus faecalis, when i heal of this in control there is escherichija coli, then when i heal this apear again enteroccocus faecalis. And so on in the circle! My urologist said that i dont need cure with antibiotics. He said that i must drink vrbovica tea, czink, vitamin e and selenium. Is that correct? What do you think? |

Dear Goran Your urologist has given you the correct reply. Presence of E Coli in urine is not important but how many are in number is important. Urine culture is deemed positive if it shows a bacterial colony count of greater than or equal to 10000 colony-forming units per mL of a typical urinary tract organism. So you should not worry. |
