Dear Sir, It is very sad what happened with your wife but how did you know that she died in O.T. The unexpected death in the hospital operation theatre raises always questions. Was anyone to blame for this death? Was everything done correctly by the surgeon or gynecologist? Was there malpractice with my patient? A death within the operating room is particularly disturbing. According to law there should be postmartum for the death in operation theatre. Always that question remains. How can someone die within the operating room, where individuals, facilities, and equipment focus completely on one patient? As you are saying your wife was transferred in ICU so the death was not in operation theatre and as you are saying your story it seems that postmartum was also not done so in this case you need to keep patience. First you should take all the documents from the hospital and then try to take advice from a good medico-legal lawyer if you thing the negligence has been done in your wife ccase. With regard A.
