Watch this informative video on Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with Indocyanine Green (ICG) performed at World Laparoscopy Hospital. In this educational surgical video, expert surgeons demonstrate the advanced technique of laparoscopic hysterectomy enhanced with Indocyanine Green fluorescence imaging, which helps improve visualization of vital structures and ensures greater surgical precision and safety.

Conventional Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy is the standard surgical procedure for treating uterine diseases. The procedure involves removal of the uterus and the surgery involves cutting the uterine artery, separating the ureter tunnel, and performing bladder separation and colpotomy. The procedure is frequently associated with postoperative insufficiency of ureteral blood supply and repair problems. This can lead to significant ureteral complications, such as postoperative ischemic necrosis, urinary fistula, stenosis, etc.  ICG 25 mg was mixed with 10 mL sterile water, and 5 ml of the dilution was injected in both the ureter. The dye was tracked intraoperatively in real-time using an infrared fluorescence laparoscopic system (Endoscope Camera Fluorescent System; Stryker 1688 in order to reveal ureteral branch, bladder, and the ureter. The fluorescent signals were processed by a digital video system and displayed on a TV monitor in real time.

Modern gynecological surgery has advanced significantly with the development of minimally invasive techniques. One of the most effective and widely practiced procedures today is Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH). At World Laparoscopy Hospital, this procedure has been further enhanced with the use of Indocyanine Green (ICG) fluorescence imaging, improving surgical precision and patient safety.

Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to remove the uterus through small abdominal incisions using laparoscopic instruments and a high-definition camera. This technique offers several advantages over traditional open surgery, including smaller incisions, reduced pain, faster recovery, minimal blood loss, and shorter hospital stays. At World Laparoscopy Hospital, surgeons utilize advanced laparoscopic technology and standardized surgical protocols to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.

The integration of Indocyanine Green (ICG) has further transformed the way laparoscopic hysterectomies are performed. ICG is a fluorescent dye that becomes visible under near-infrared imaging. When injected during surgery, it helps surgeons clearly visualize blood vessels, lymphatic structures, and ureters in real time. This enhanced visualization significantly reduces the risk of accidental injury to surrounding organs and improves the overall safety of the procedure.

At World Laparoscopy Hospital, surgeons frequently use ICG fluorescence to identify the ureters and assess tissue perfusion during Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. Ureteric injury is one of the major concerns during hysterectomy procedures, but the use of ICG allows surgeons to accurately trace the ureteric pathway. This innovative technique ensures that critical anatomical structures are protected while the uterus is safely removed.

Another major advantage of performing TLH with ICG guidance is improved surgical confidence and precision. The fluorescence imaging system provides real-time feedback, enabling surgeons to confirm adequate blood supply and detect anatomical variations. This leads to safer dissection, better hemostasis, and improved postoperative recovery for patients.

Apart from providing advanced patient care, World Laparoscopy Hospital is also globally recognized for its excellence in laparoscopic and robotic surgery training. Surgeons and gynecologists from around the world visit the institution to learn cutting-edge techniques such as TLH with ICG fluorescence imaging. Under the guidance of experienced mentors like Dr. R. K. Mishra, trainees gain hands-on experience in modern surgical technologies and minimally invasive procedures.

Patients undergoing Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with ICG at World Laparoscopy Hospital benefit from a combination of advanced technology, expert surgical skills, and comprehensive postoperative care. The procedure typically results in faster healing, reduced complications, and quicker return to normal daily activities.

In conclusion, the use of Indocyanine Green in Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy represents a major advancement in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. By combining innovative fluorescence imaging with expert surgical practice, World Laparoscopy Hospital continues to set new standards in patient safety, surgical education, and clinical excellence. This modern approach not only improves surgical outcomes but also reflects the future of precision-guided laparoscopic surgery.
