I am 17 years old. I have few blisters in my mouth on the left anterior abutment. It hurts to swallow. I don't know what could be the cause of this. I have no other symptoms except this one. I don't take any cigarettes or other tobacco products and this has never happened to me before. The pain was so severe that I woke up two days ago at 2pm with a sore throat. I assumed it was a severe sore throat, but noticed that it also hurt near the back of my mouth rather than in the throat. So far I have done nothing to treat the pain except eat a tablespoon of honey before going to sleep as advised by one of my friends. Please help. |

Dear Jayaram, The options for cure of this include: -Avoid spicy and sour foods until the ulcers heal. -Drink plenty of fluids. -Regularly rinse your mouth out with warm, slightly salted water. -Keep your mouth clean. -Take pain-relieving medication, such as paracetamol. -Apply antiseptic gel to the ulcers. |
