Dear Mr Madan
In case of Gaabladder stone it is not advisable to remove stone only. The complete Gall bladder has to be removed. We do Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy in that case. The expense of Surgery at World Laparoscopy Hospital would be 35,000 for Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy as complete package.

I have been diagnosed with gall bladder stone of 14mm diameter. C.B.D is within normal limit. What is the best treatment for me

Dear Vipin,

If your gall bladder stone is not problematic then you dont need operation but if it is creating problem like pain then you need to get Laparoscopic Choleocystectomy operation done. Laparoscopic choleocystectomy is the gold standard to treat gall stone.

Sir I have 14mm stone in length and normal 2mm wall thickness in the neck of the gall bladder. Please give me advise how it will be remove

Dear Kamal
You will need a surgery for the removal of the stone. This stone can cause you problem like pain in the abdomen, vomiting, jaundice , intolerance to the fatty food. So you need to get rid of it by doing a surgery called laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This surgery is available on World Laparoscopy Hospital .

My brother has one gallstone of 14mm size and doctot suggests him To take medicine n after 1 month do checkup again he assured that it will b gone. What should we do in this case.

Dear Mish
Gall stone of size 14mm cannot be healed with the medicine you need to go for the surgery for this. The symptoms can be control by the medicine. Sometimes the stone can slips off and can land in the intestine and can come out through the stool but there is less chance that stone of size 14 mm can come out this way. You need to plan for the laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the procedure of removing gall bladder with the stone, it has many advantages than open surgery like Rather than a five to seven inch incision, the operation requires only four small openings in the abdomen.Patients usually have minimal post-operative pain.Patients usually experience faster recovery than open gallbladder surgery patients. Most patients go home the same day of the surgery and enjoy a quicker return to normal activities.

Dear Sir/madam,

My mom is 50 years old and she is having 14 mm stone in Gall Bladder. can it be resolve with Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy.

Without issue and problem also she has BP and Thyroid level is 12.

Dear Brijes

A gall stone is a stone formed within the gallbladder out of bile components. The term cholelithiasis may refer to the presence of stones in the gallbladder or to the diseases caused by gallstones. Most people with gallstones (about 80%) never have symptoms. In 1–4% of those with gallstones, a crampy pain in the right upper part of the abdomen, known asbiliary colic, occurs each year. Complications of gallstones include inflammation of the gallbladder, inflammation of the pancreas, and liver inflammation.
You need to go for the surgery to get rid of it. Laparoscopoc cholecystectomy is the surgery of choice. In this the small holes are made in the abdomen through which the instrument and telescope are passed and the surgery is carried out.
Her BP and thyroid level need to be controlled before the surgery that can be done with the help of the medicine.Yes the laparoscopic cholecystectomy will solve the problem without an issue.

The only way to cure the problem of gall stone is by the Surgery which include removal of the gall bladder termed as cholecystectomy which is the treatment of choice. After the symptoms will subside it wont have any side effect the only caution you need to take is you should avoid oily and spicy food.

I have a 14mm and a smaller gallstone. I have had problems with my stomach pain, but i did not get aby nausea or vomitting. Can my gallstone be removed from natural remedies such as apple juice or apple cider vinegar? As iv'e seen people saying it works and has treated their gallstones.

Reply:

It's understandable to want to explore natural remedies for gallstones, especially if you're experiencing discomfort. While there are anecdotal reports of apple juice or apple cider vinegar helping with gallstones, there's limited scientific evidence to support their effectiveness in dissolving gallstones or facilitating their removal.

Gallstones vary in size and composition, and their treatment depends on various factors such as the size of the stone, symptoms, and overall health. In some cases, smaller gallstones may pass through the bile duct without causing significant issues. However, larger stones may require medical intervention.

It's essential to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice and treatment options tailored to your specific situation. They can provide you with accurate information about the risks and benefits of different treatment approaches, including natural remedies and medical procedures like surgery or medication.
