I am a 39 year old woman with a constant weight problem. I was always an over weight child but lost all the weight with diets and exercise. Gained it back again in a few years. This happened 3 times in last 39 years but every time I gained back extra 10 kgs so at present I weigh 109 kgs. My height is 5'2". My basic problem is that I have a tendency to gain weight (blame it on my genes). I am able to maintain my weight only till the time I am on a strict diet that is for a few years and after that I get frustrated and lose my patience and switch over to a normal diet resulting in more weight gain. Right now I dont have the energy or the patience to go through another weight loss programme of strict diets and heavy exercise thats why I thought of consulting you. . I am interested in a permanent solution for that I think I should go for Laparascopic Sleeve Gastrectomy (LSG) . I don't have any medical problems except for a mild thyroid and of course the weight related problems like backaches etc. Please advice and let me know the cost of the surgery. |
