Dear shazia mohsin Swelling on feet and leg is caused by fluid buildup in the tissues. Gravity pulls the fluids for your feet and ankles, causing these phones swell. Swelling could be the result of a serious condition from the kidney, heart, liver or arteries. Another reasons for swelling are: Eating an undesirable diet full of salt and carbohydrates Taking birth control or hormone replacement therapy pills Pregnancy PMS Sodium retention Muscle injury Varicose veins History of phlebitis Allergic reactions Preeclampsia Neuromuscular disorders Trauma Laxative abuse Diuretics abuse. You should consult a good physician for diagnosis. With regards Sadhana |

What does it mean to have free pelvic collection. There is some fluid within the abdomen all the time. Allow me to explain. There's a serous membrane that forms the lining of the abdominal cavity, known as the peritoneum. This has two layers, the one is called the parietal peritoneum which attaches towards the abdominal wall and also the other is known as the (double layer) visceral peritoneum that's wrapped round the internal organs within the abdomen. There's a space between both of these layers and it is called the peritoneal cavity. There is a small amount (About 50 ml) of slippery serous fluid that enables the 2 layers from the peritoneum to slide freely over one another. Sometimes infection could possibly get into this fluid. |
