Dear Poonam Sharma

A hydrosalpinx is really a blocked fallopian tube that's full of fluid. It can be dilated to varying degrees in the accumulated fluid. Doctors can diagnose a hydrosalpinx in a number of ways including ultrasound, surgery for example laparoscopy, or HSG.

Tubal blockage and tubal infertility is usually a consequence of previous pelvic infection such as pelvic inflammatory disease, but also could be caused by endometriosis and other conditions.

Women with bilateral (each side) tubal damage and hydrosalpinx are infertile and will need either tubal surgery, such as neosalpingostomy, or perhaps in vitro fertilization to get pregnant.

If your woman going through IVF includes a hydrosalpinx visible by ultrasound, the average expected IVF success rate is gloomier compared that expected inside a similar patient with no hydrosalpinx. If there is are bilateral hydrosalpinges ( on both sides - plural of hydrosalpinx is hydrosalpinges) visible on ultrasound, studies have shown the expected IVF rate of success is gloomier than with a hydro on one side.

The medical studies on hydrosalpinx and IVF outcome agree that there's a decrease in success, but they do not agree on the amount of the decrease caused by the hydro. In general, studies claim that the chances for live birth are reduced about 25% with a hydro present on ultrasound.

IVF success vary significantly between different centers - it is wise to analyze IVF live birth rates carefully before selecting a clinic for that treatment.

Careful ultrasound exam will be able to detect any significant hydrosalpinx. Studies have shown when surgical treatment is performed to get rid of the fallopian tube (or tubes), the expected IVF success rate is normalized.

So within our opinion firstly you is going for bilateral salpingectomy followed by IVF.
