|I'm Indonesian and my son, 8 years old, was born with PDA and ASD condition. In yr 2006, the PDA had been closed by normal surgery and still 3 mm left as it was too big and too risk to completely close it. Last week he just did the echo and found that the ASD is still 1.4 cm. Would you please advise if it is possible now to do the laparoscopic surgery to close the ASD while he had been done the normal surgery of PDA in the past. I would highly appreciate to receiving your advise soon. Thank you.|

The presented Minimal Access Surgery technique for ASD provides an optimal exposure permitting endoscopic surgical correction of any type of ASD. The endoscopic advanced technique has rare operative mortality and a low perioperative morbidity. It is a exclusive operative approach of percutaneous ASD closure to improved cosmesis, reduced operative pain, and a relatively fast recovery.
