Dear Mr Naveen Saxena

The goal of the Ileal Conduit is to divert urin outside the body when the bladder is removed. An ileal conduit is a surgical treatment, in which a small urine reservoir is created from the segment of a bowel and it is placed just below the abdominal wall. No more the ileum is presented with an opening within the abdominal wall to drain the urine gathered in the reservoir. This opening is called a stoma. The individual wears a bag over the stoma to collect the urine. The bag adheres towards the body (within the soma) using an adhesive disk (wafer or flange).

Your doctor might be giving you some antibiotic to prevent antibiotic and this may be the cause for the acidity proble.

Since you'll be wearing a bag mounted on your abdomen all the time, the skin will be in connection with adhesive the majority of the time. The adhesive might irritate your skin, so you have to take good care at all times. When removing your appliance, do it gently so you do not injure your skin. Wash your skin gently with warm water and mild soap. Before you decide to put your new appliance on, dry the skin thoroughly, otherwise it could fall off.

Because you will be wearing a bag attached to your abdomen constantly, your skin will be in connection with adhesive the majority of the time. The adhesive might irritate your skin, which means you need to take proper care all the time. When removing your appliance, do it gently so that you do not injure your skin. Wash your skin gently with tepid to warm water and gentle soap. Before you put your new appliance on, dry your skin thoroughly, otherwise it might fall off.

If you will use good quality of urobag and look after proper maintanance then possibility of leak is not there.

If you want consultation you are most welcome to World Laparoscopy Hospital. The consultation charge of Dr. Mishra is 500 rupees only.
