Dear Radhikesh Kumar

According to report you should get the laparoscopic cholecystectomy done for your father.

With laparoscopic surgery of cholecystectomy, your father probably will only have to stay in the hospital overnight. Whereas with open cholecystectomy, your father would have to stay in the hospital for about five days.

Because the incisions are smaller with laparoscopic cholecystectomy, there is not as much pain after this operation as after open cholecystectomy.

With regards
M.K. Gupta
