I have multiple small fibroids as per ultra sound. My Monthly cycle is 30 days.Though for the past 6 months i don't have heavy bleeding problem. But I faces a big problem in urination. I need to go after every 5 minutes as i feel that my bladder is not empty. I need to apply force also if i hold it for some time if i am not at home and can't go for urination immediately. kindly suggest me, should i go for uterus removal or only fibroid removal. |

Dear Jubilee Gupta If your age is in reproductive age group and your family is not completed you should get fibroid removed. If you think your family is complete and your age is above 40 it is better to get uterus removed. Laparoscopic Myomectomy is an minimal access operation to remove fibroid tumours or myomas from the uterus. This retains the uterus, as an alternative treatment to laparoscopic hysterectomy.
