the TVS report is as follows: The Urinary Bladder is almost empty. The Uterus is retroverted, retroflexed and bulky. It measures 3.82 x 5.26 x 8.51 cm. there is a 3.16 x 2.61 cm sized intramural fibroid, protruding beyond the uterine contour seen along the anterior fundus on the left side. The endometrial echoes are normal with no focal lesion seen. The endometrial thickness measures 3.5 mm. Both Ovaries are normal in size and show uniform parenchymal echogenicity and smooth outlines. Right ovary measures 3.40 x 2.01 cm and shows a 2.70 x 2.11 cm follicular cyst within. Left ovary measures 2.89 x 1.60 cm. Small tortuous areas with low level internal echoes are seen in close vicinity of left adnexa- ? endometriomas ?? focal dilatation of left fallopian tube, however needs follow up scan on day- 2 of the subsequent cycle for further evaluation. Minimal fluid is seen around the left ovary and patient was tender during scanning of left adnexa. Multiple nabothian cysts are seen in the endocervix. PLEASE CORRELATE CLINICALLY |

Dear Deepanjana Sengupta Your fibroid should not create problem as it is intra mural and small. in our opinion you should get Diagnostic laparoscopy done to rule out any endometriosis or any other adnexal pathology. |
