Dear Dayana

Your Gynecologist has given you correct advice. Ladies who take folate supplements every day possess a better chance of getting pregnant, say researchers. Long recognized to safeguard the healthiness of the developing fetus, this is actually the first time folate, a form of vitamin B, can aid conception too. Research involving more than 18,000 women showed multivitamins - particularly folic acid - improve a ladies fertility. Those taking a supplement regularly were built with a 40 per cent lower chance of suffering problems producing eggs - the second biggest reason for female infertility.

Laparoscopy is really a non-invasive surgical treatment used to identify reasons for female infertility as well as treat a number of them. A doctor examines the organs of the pelvic region including uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries to identify blockage or irregularities. Laparoscopy detects endometriosis, scarring, fallopian tube damage, adhesions, ovarian cysts, fibroids, congenital abnormalities and polycystic ovaries. When the allies are diagnosed, it is called diagnostic laparoscopy. This is performed in the end the basic infertility tests are carried out. However when a surgical treatment is performed using laser to deal with these problems, it is called surgical laparoscopy. Very often, these complaints are treated when they're diagnosed. Sometimes, parts of tissues are taken out for examination called biopsy.

During laparoscopy, a cut is made just beneath the navel. Carbon dioxide is then blown in to the abdominal region to split up the interior organs. A little telescope, known as the laparoscope, is inserted with the incision to examine the abdominal and pelvic organs. This provides a clear look at the ovaries, uterus and fallopian tubes. The entire pelvis is scanned and all organs are checked. Following the laparoscopy, the incisions are stitched or covered with bandages for faster healing. The stitches are removed after a couple of days. You may even be advisable to take rest till the stitches heal completely.
