Dear Shiv Several types of anemia can develop while pregnant. Included in this are: Iron-deficiency anemia Folate-deficiency anemia Vitamin B12 deficiency Iron-deficiency anemia. This type of anemia happens when the body doesn't need enough iron to make adequate numbers of hemoglobin. Which is a protein in red blood cells. It carries oxygen from the lungs towards the rest of the body. In iron-deficiency anemia, the blood cannot carry enough oxygen to tissues through the entire body. Iron deficiency is the most frequent cause of anemia while pregnant. Folate-deficiency anemia. Folate, also referred to as folic acid b vitamin, is a type of B vitamin. Our bodies needs folate to make new cells, including healthy red blood cells. While pregnant, women need extra folate. But not they do not get enough using their diet. When that occurs, one's body can't make enough normal red blood cells to hold oxygen to tissues through the entire body. Folate deficiency can directly give rise to some kinds of birth defects. Vitamin B12 deficiency. The body needs vitamin B12 in order to create healthy red blood cells. When a mother doesn't enough vitamin B12 from her diet, her body can't produce enough healthy red blood cells. Women who do not eat meat, poultry, dairy food, and eggs have a the upper chances of developing vitamin B12 deficiency, which may help with birth defects. If your wife is anemic during your pregnancy, your wife may need to begin taking an iron supplement and/or folic acid supplement along with your wife prenatal vitamins. Your wife medical professional may also suggest that your wife should add more foods which can be loaded with iron and folic acid for your wife diet. Moreover, your wife will end up inspired to return for one more blood test from a specific stretch of time which means that your wife can make sure that your hemoglobin and hematocrit levels are improving. To help remedy vitamin B12 deficiency, your wife may be recommended that she should taking a vitamin B12 supplement. The doctor might also suggest that your wife include more animal foods in your diet, like: meat eggs dairy foods I hope with these advice your wife will be perfect. With regard J S Chowhan |
