A decrease in excess weight could be intentially caused by exercise and dieting, such as for obesity. The loss of weight and lack of nutrition associated with a chronic illness is referred to as cachexia if it is associated with hair loss that means you are getting malnutrition also. Unexplained, unintentional weight reduction is often a result of illness and really should seen by a physician.
Weight loss like a symptom could be brought on by diseases affecting just about any part of the body, including ongoing infections, AIDS, cancers, depression, painful mouth sores, missing teeth, chronic liver disease, kidney disease, respiratory disease, thyroid disease, heart disease, and chronic diarrhea or any other digestive complaints.
It can also be caused by appetite loss because of dementia by certain eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa or bulimia in addition to malnutrition.
Some drugs are also known to cause abnormal weight reduction. These include amphetamines, chemotherapeutic agents, and thyroid medications. Substance abuse involving unneccessary use of purgatives and laxatives, heavy street drug use, or smoking is known to cause abnormal weight loss.
Rapid or persistent weight reduction is extremely dangerous and may cause severe harm to multiple organs and really should continually be investigated as soon as possible.
So in this situation you should consult one nearby physician and try to get all thorough investigation done.
