PELVIC SCAN REPORT Pelvic ultra sound reveal bulky and gravid anteverted uterus of homogenous myometrical echo measuring120mm×83mm×90mm in Lx APxT diameter respectively with regular border outline noted. it contains seemily gestational sac. No foetal pole is noted within the sac the future suggestive of early Cyesis. Gestational sac diameter measuring less than 10mm. However noted within the uterine lumen is an hypoechogenic masses measuring about 31mm×26mm×38mm; 46mm×38mm; 72mm×66mm respectively feature suggestive of INTRAMURAL Uterine Myoma. No ovarian cyst. Both adnexae billaterally free. The pouch douglas is relatively free. Pls i need your medical advise on what to do. Is my baby growth safe? Suruchi Thanks |

Dear Suruchi It is not necessary that fibroid will affect the growth of baby. Once the pregnancy will established nicely it will push the fibroid away. However in small percentage of cases there may be abortion. You should remain in contact of a gynecologist and a regular followup is required. With regard Sadhana |
