I have occasional pain abdomen after eating protein and I don't know what I'm doing wrong it doesn't ever want to go away and it can start whenever I take egg or any protein diet? Help me please I want to take high protein drinks in the mornings for my long hair and I need help because I want to increase my weight also.

Right now I am very lean and thin. I am also on fruit juice plus multivitamin capsules but I skip it and my Claritin D too. I have been feeling always tired even if I don,t do any physical work and I mean like super tired. I take the vitamins before I go to sleep help me?

Dear Sabnam Gupta
You are probably allergic to the egg proteins, so you may try vegetarian source of protein like almonds or soya proteins. I may also tell you that diets rich in proteins actually are used to lose weight. Vitamins and minerals also donot help in gaining weight. Carbohydrates and fats rich diet normally helps in weight gain. You may get blood tests done for various deficiencies and consult your physician for the replacement of the same.

Thanks

Dear Avni,
Abdominal pain can be caused by many conditions. However, the main causes are infection, abnormal growths, inflammation, obstruction (blockage), and intestinal disorders. Infections in the throat, intestines, and blood can cause bacteria to enter your digestive tract, resulting in abdominal pain.
