Dear Munaza Firdous

Your fibroid size is only 2.5 CM only and you have already baby therefore we will advice you not get operated for fibroid at the moment.

Fibroids of the uterus (womb) are mere overgrowths from the normal uterine muscle and fibrous tissue. Their proper medical name is leiomyoma--singular, leiomyomata--plural. Possibly as many as 40% of women may develop them, truly they cause no problems.

They are not cancerous, however they can nevertheless create problems merely by their size if they would grow too big.

They can, for example, grow big enough to result in obstructions within the urinary system, causing kidney damage or frequent kidney infections; or exert pressure against the bladder, giving a woman the false feeling that they must urinate; or from the rectum, causing the feeling of constipation.

Their size can also cause the uterus to weigh more, this drag creating pelvic heaviness and back pain. Bladder control problems migh result from the heavier uterus jolting with that really a kick having a sneeze or cough, this very action suddenly puckering open the urinary sphincter which lies above the mouth from the womb.
