MY ULTASOUND KUB&PELVIS REPORT Report :: : Both Kidneys are normal in position, have smooth outlines and show a uniform parenchymal echogenicity. There is no evidence of calculi or calyceal dilatation seen on either side. Right kidney measures 10.3 x 3.58cm.Left kidney measures 9.61 x 3.19cm.The Renal Hila show normal anatomic configuration.The Perinephric Spaces are clear.The Urinary Bladder is normal in size. Its walls show a smooth outline. There is no obvious intraluminal or perivesical pathology.Pre void bladder volume measures 86.4cc.Post void bladder shows insignificant residual urine.The Uterus is anteverted and normal in size, measures 8.91 x 5.59cm. The myometrium shows multiple calcified fibroids (at least 4 in number), largest measuring approx. 3.40 x 2.42cm along the posterior wall. The endometrial echoes are normal. The endometrial thickness measures 5.5mm.There is a cyst measuring 3.8 x 2.9 x 1.9cm in left ovary with internal echoes. Left fallopian is also dilated with internal echoes.Right ovary is normal in size and is seen lying posterior to the uterus. It shows shows uniform parenchymal echogenicity and smooth outlines. Right ovary measures 2.61 x 1.70cm. IMPRESSION: : - UTERINE FIBROIDS.- LEFT OVARIAN CYST WITH DILATED FALLOPIAN TUBE WITH INTERNAL ECHOES. POSSIBILITY INCLUDES: ENDOMETRIOMA WITH HEMATOSALPINX.ADVISE: MRI PELVIS FOR FURTHER EVALUATION. Dear Ravita Maurtya As suggested in ultrasound report get a MRI pelvis done to see the exact size and location of the fibroids and cyst. The diagnostic laparoscopy and laparoscopic myomectomy with laparoscopic removal of endometrioma is very much possible. Thanks Dr J S Chowhan |
