In April 2011 I had a medical operation for paraproctitis. After approximately a year I went to a doctor and he told me that I had an extrasphincteric anal fistula formed which is quite complex and he can not perform an operation because he is not sure of the results of it. I would be grateful if you could advise me whether VAAFT method can be applied for treatment of my fistula. |

Any good surgical techniques for treating anal fistulas are based on three main principles: Identification of the tract Excision of the fistula tract and Preservation of anal sphincter function.
