I have fistula andmy scanned report says "there is a 0.3cm thick linear hypoechoic area linear tract,extending from the cutaneous plane at 7 oc clock position and extending for a length of approximately 1.5cm, into the superficial inter sphincteric plane. No evidence of collection is seen in the intersphincteric plane. Rest of the anal sphincters appear normal.no evdience of perianal collections is seen." above is medical report could u suggest me whether I have under go surgery now I don't have pain and bleeding .pls help me to make decision. |

Dear Madan, You will need to go for the surgery as very few fistula heals themselves. Fistulectomy can be done. Fistulectomy is a surgical procedure where a fistulous tract is excised (cut out) completely. |
