Hello Doctor My name is Saritha and I am inquiring about information about gastric sleeve procedures at your hospital. I am 33yrs old 5'2 and I currently weigh about 240lbs. I might be diabetic as it has been such a long time I have seen a doctor. This surgery will help me better my life in many ways possible. I want to marry and have kids, but this weight has been such an issue for me. I always struggled with weight. Please help me! Secondly, past month I have been doing research and watching your videos. I have the following questions: 1) do you do stitches on top of the stapling of the gastric sleeve as a secondary precaution from having any risk of internal leaks? 1a) how likely is it for other nearby organs to get damaged while performing laproscopy? 2) do you do any further imaging tests to see if there is any actual leaking inside? 3) what are the package for those patients from overseas and how much would it cost? And what is included in the price? Can you please break it down for me in USD? 4) how likely is hernia to occur after surgery? And is there a preventive measures you do while on surgery? 5) what are the treatments and options for post operations? 6) how often are these equipments used and how are they sterilized? 7) do you provide a video copy of the surgery if the patient requested? 8) can I opt out from having my surgery as a educational tutorial? 9) how likely is it to have clots? Clots in your legs? Is there any compressions provided to reduce such? 10) for out of town patients, how many weeks do you generally recommend to stay for surgery and follow ups? Is 2 weeks enough? 11) what about stool after post OP? What if you end up getting constipation, would that be a risk for your staples and stitches inside? 12) are there any ayuverdic medications for post operations to help heal the natural way? 13) how does overseas patients follow-up with you after post operation? What would be my option? 14) because I am from overseas, it is hard to have so many days off. Max I can have is 2 weeks. Is that enough time? Thank You. Kind Regards, Laura |
