Sir, My wife is 34 years old, she has a pain in stomach one week before and a ultrasound whole abdomen (TVS) done by a gyanecologist. In the ultrasound report all things are normal but in the uterus section written this :- UTERUS : ANTEVERTED, NORMAL IN SIZE, SHAPE AND ECHO TEXTURE, MEASURES - 6.1 X 4.2 X 3.2 CM. SINGLE, ROUND, ILL DEFINED, HYPOECHOIC AREA OF SIZE - 11.4 X 14 MM IS SEEN IN THE FUNDAL REGION, S/O INTRAMURAL FIBROID, REST OF THE MYOMETRIAL ECHO TEXTURE IS HOMOGENOUS. CENTRAL ENDOMETRIAL ECHO MEASURES 7.7 MM. UTERUS CAVITY IS EMPTY. CERVICAL REGION IS HOMOGENOUS. Can you tell me the complication in pregnancy and what is the size of fibroid and treatment for curing this fibroid. Gyanecologist has given the medicines - folvite (folic acid), fertomid and oflox tz. |

Dear Mr. Pawan Kumar In our opinion based upon many study done and data available in the literature do not allow us to propose the link between asymptomatic small subserous or intramural myoma to young women with infirtility because of the absence of evidence in the results, in terms of fertility, for those who wish to become pregnant. So far, we have no idea about adhesions or subsequent infertility. In the absence of conclusive data, it seems logical to propose uterine embolization or myolysis to women who do not desire pregnancy but for young women without disturbing the uterus you should try to complete your family. With regards Sadhana |
