result of blood test reveald heigh fasting sugar 193 abd heigh pp sugar 343 , also lipid profile results are more than normal except for hdl which is 50 . kindly prescribe medicine to reduce sugar level and stop weight loss current bmi is 18 |

Dear Mr. Yadav You can start Diabetic treatment with Metformin 500 mg twice daily. We will advice you to always take advice of your family doctor because the dose of medicine has to be adjusted and sometime two or the medicine has to be used according to the response of your body. Sometime self medication is risky. You should also do exercise and take multivitamin. Diet restriction and low carbohydrate meal is necessary to decrease the blood sugar level. With regards Sadhana |
