Dear Denise Results of the CA 125 test are measured in units per milliliter (U/mL). The normal value is less than 35 U/mL. If your CA 125 level is higher than normal, you may have most probably a benign condition, or the test result could mean that you have ovarian, endometrial, peritoneal or in extreme condition it reflect fallopian tube cancer. You need a followup for your left ovary. If the repeat ultrasound will show that cyst is increasing in size if it is irregular if it is becoming symptomatic even after medical treatment surgery may be required. At present you should consult a gynecologist and medical therapy should be started. You did not tell about your fertility and contraception if any. With regard Sadhana |

The causes of endometriosis are Retrograde blood flow is one of the main causes of endometriosis. Endometriosis can also run in the family. It can be inherited in the genes. Hormonal disturbance and surgery can be other causes of endometriosis. |
