I am extremely happy to find this hospital and this doctor. I live in the US and I developed an extreme case of scar tissue after 4 hernia surgeries. My doctor has advised me to accept my fate and learn to live with this problem. I've had this problem for 5 years and every day it gets harder and harder to deal with it. I lost all my strength, I can't even lift a 30-pound box, I cannot bend or do any exercise. As a result of it, I was depressed for a long time and I became overweight; I am actually 90 pounds overweight. My main concern with surgery has to do with post-operative care. From what I've found out, scar tissue starts developing after surgery as the healing process goes into effect. Here in the US, they throw you out into the streets as soon as they're done operating you. I didn't even spend 10 hours in the hospital during my last operation. They gave instructions regarding hygiene and how to avoid infections but that was it; they never warned me about the fact that my healing process could go wrong. My question is, do you offer post-operative care after surgery? For how long? How long does it take to know the surgery was successful? From what I remember I started feeling very uncomfortable almost from the beginning but I blamed it on the hernia mesh. How much does the surgery cost, and how much will my stay cost in your hotel if I choose to go to India for surgery? Do you have a special technique, trick, or secret to keeping scar tissue from recurring again? I have some more questions but I will ask them later. Thank you very much. |

Thank you very much for your reply, and I will do that as soon as I have a chance. In the meantime, I would like to know if you know of a case or cases where scar tissue has been treated successfully - by successful I mean if there is a case where the scar tissue was removed and did not grow back.--. I find this problem very difficult because as you know, scar tissue comes with healing. Is there a technique to get rid of it without allowing it to come back? |
