Dear Mukami

A hydrosalpinx is the diseased condition inwhich fallopian tube which bring the egg for fertilization from ovary, that has become filled with fluid due to injury or infection.

In some cases of hydrosalpinx, especially where the hydrosalpinx is small, and female wants baby this type of blockage can be repaired, allowing pregnancy to occur naturally. This requires a minimal access surgical procedure called neosalpingostomy, in this laparoscopic procedure which a laparoscope is surgically inserted into the abdomen and an incision is made to open the blocked fallopian tube.

Recovery from neosalpingostomy procedure is relatively rapid and female can achiev normal activity may be resumed within a few days. Because of PCOD there is fear that your ovarian health and egg quality decline after the age of 35, you should get Ovarian drilling done and for tubereversal surgery is more viable.

Because ofthe low changes of success with attempts at surgical reconstruction of in the year following neosalpingostomy for hydrosalpinges, and because of the increased risk of ectopic pregnancy, most women experiencing significant tubal damage are advised to move directly to IVF. If IVF considered sometime removal of diseased tube should also be considered.

So please consult a good Gynecologist a d plan your treatment accordingly.

With regard
