Institute: WLHToday Dr R K Mishra demonstrated to the Gynecologist how to perform the Burch Suspension in the live tissue. They dissected the peritoneum upto the Cooper's Ligament, idenifying the Cooper's Ligament as the Light house, and extended the dissection into the retropubic area. Here they dissected the adipose and other fatty tissues away from the urethra. They spotted the tendon of the Levator Ani muscle. Tumble square knots were put between the Cooper's ligament and the Para Urethral Vaginal fascia and the descended urethra was lifted upto the level of the tendon of the Levator Ani muscle. Two knots were put on either side with a gap of 2 cms.
