Today was a very special day for the doctors at World Laparoscopy Hospital as they were going to receive the Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery at the certification ceremony. All of them had qualified in the written exam and the toppers of the July batch were Dr Prashant Pareek amongst surgeons and Dr Anishka Kashyap amongst the gynecologist. All of them had full attendance of the course. The passing criteria for Fellowship is minimum 80% attendance and 50% marks in the written exam. The certification ceremony is held in very formal way. The doctors and the faculty wear the ceremonial Graduation day Gowns and Caps. The certificates  are given by a Chief guest ; a person of repute from the bureaucracy, politics, academics, medical sciences, sports etc. Dr Raveen Sharma the Managing Director of Ganesh Diagnostics and Ganesh Institute of  Medical and Paramedical Sciences was the Chief guest . He manages a chain of state  of the art diagnostic centers equipped with PET-CT, 3 Tesla MRI, 189 slice/second CT scanners, Gamma Cameras for Nuclear Studies, auto analysers etc.  This ceremony was also covered by media and crew from the DD National TV channel of India. Dr J S Chowhan was the moderator of the ceremony. The ceremony started with congratulatory message from Dr Chowhan. It was followed by the feedback from the trainee doctors and address by the Chief Guest. Trophies and Merit Certificates were given to the toppers followed by distribution of F. MAS degrees and Mementos to all the qualifying doctors. Group photograph with the Chief Guest was taken. The ceremony ended with the thanks giving and valedictory speech by Dr. R K Mishra.
