It is one of the most basic skill of a gynecologists to learn a range of theoretical and practical principles of diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. Today there was demonstrations of both diagnostic hysteroscopic surgery. Lectures include current and future developments in hysteroscopic procedures, new energy forms like versapoint and innovative ambulatory surgery. The role of hysteroscopy in the management of abnormal uterine bleeding and fertility is explored. There is an emphasis on undertaking hysteroscopic procedures in an outpatient setting with guidance on how to provide and develop such services.
