Good morning everyone, and welcome to this session where we will be discussing and demonstrating several laparoscopic gynecological procedures on live tissue. Our experienced instructor, Dr. B. N Balla, will be demonstrating total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy, tubal recanalization, tubal ligation, and pelvic lymphadenectomy techniques.
Total laparoscopic hysterectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to remove the uterus, while preserving the cervix, ovaries, and fallopian tubes. Laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to remove ovarian cysts, while preserving the ovary. Tubal recanalization and tubal ligation are both procedures used for contraception, with recanalization reversing a previous tubal ligation and ligation involving the blocking or sealing of the fallopian tubes. Pelvic lymphadenectomy involves the removal of pelvic lymph nodes to diagnose or treat cancer.
During this hands-on training, you will have the opportunity to practice these surgical procedures under the guidance of our experienced instructors. Our instructors will be available to provide guidance and feedback on your technique, and to answer any questions you may have.
We encourage you to take full advantage of this valuable learning opportunity and to use the skills and knowledge you gain to improve your practice and provide the best possible care for your patients.
Thank you for your attention, and let's get started with the live tissue demonstration and practice of total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy, tubal recanalization, tubal ligation, and pelvic lymphadenectomy techniques.
