Good morning everyone, and welcome to this hands-on session on laparoscopic extracorporeal square knots. Today, we will be practicing tying the square knot under the guidance of Prof Dr. R. K. Mishra.
The square knot is a commonly used knot in laparoscopic surgery, and it is used to secure sutures and ligatures during a wide range of procedures. It is a secure and reliable knot that can be tied quickly and easily, making it an essential skill for surgeons and gynecologists who practice minimal access surgery.
To begin, I will be demonstrating the steps involved in tying the square knot, including how to properly position the suture and how to achieve optimal tension. I will also be providing tips and tricks on how to avoid knot slippage and how to achieve the best results with each knot.
After the demonstration, you will have the opportunity to practice tying the square knot under the guidance of experienced instructors. You will be challenged to use your cognitive and technical abilities to complete the task efficiently and accurately, using the appropriate instruments and techniques.
Throughout this session, our instructors will be available to answer any questions you may have and to provide guidance and feedback on your technique. We encourage you to take full advantage of this valuable learning opportunity and to use the skills and knowledge you gain to improve your practice and provide the best possible care for your patients.
Thank you for your attention, and we wish you all the best in your practice of minimal access surgery. Let's get started with the laparoscopic extracorporeal square knot demonstration and practice session.
