Institute: WLHLaparoscopic Surgery is not a surgery in reality rather it is a surgery on image. And the minimal access surgeon only has two dimensional vision of the image. He can see normally only length and breadth. Third dimension i.e. depth is not available, rather some depth cues has to be learnt by him to do the proper surgery. In Laparoscopic Surgery hand eye coordination is of utmost importance. Moreover no assistant hand come for any help. With one hand the surgeon operates and his other hand works as assistant. He has to develop ambidexterity and both his hands should work as surgeon and assistant hand. The Basic initial part of course of Laparoscopic Surgery training starts with Top Gun drills exercises to develop Hand Eye coordination and Ambidexterity of participating minimal access surgeon.
