Gen Laparoscopic Surgery / Feb 23rd, 2020 6:35 am     A+ | a-

In this episode of Doctor's Talk we discuss with Dr. R K Mishra about Hernia. A hernia is a defect in the abdominal wall through which internal organs protrude. A hernia can occur in anyone of any gender or age group. Sometimes even in newborns a hernia is detected called Congenital Hernia. More than 1 million (10 lakh) cases of hernia are observed in India every year. It can be treated by Open surgery or Laparoscopy but the laparoscopic procedure provides many advantages compared to traditional open surgery.
