Convocation function held on 14th Jan'13 2013. This was 155th Convocation at World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurgaon for passing out qualified laparoscopic surgeons and gynecologist of the Batch February 2013. The Convocation was held at Pacific Hostel, Gurgaon. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr.Sarita, Professor, Bundel khand Universiy and the special invitee was Mr. H.L Atri , who presided over the function. The MIS Director of WLH, Dr. J.S. Chowhan, welcomed the guests and read the exam report. The passed out students of the Batch January Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery. Certification ceremony was done after listning feedback of 155th batch of Training Course January 2012. Chief Guest Mr. H. L. Attri, former director Ministry of Environment, Govt. Of India has given his nice speach and blessed all the laparoscopic surgeons of India and abroad. At the end the vote of thanks was given by the centre Head (Dr. R.K. Mishra) The convocation ended with cake cutting followed by lunch in honour of the guests and graduating students.
 
These drastic changes are occurring from time to time and continue rapidly with improving the performance of Advanced Laparoscopic surgical and gynecological procedures. Gynecological residents and General Surgeons who may have completed their trained in conventional open surgeries and therefore are entering the method of general surgery has to be knowledgeable about and ought to be trained and educated during these aspects of minimal access surgery. A good laparoscopic training programme ought to be structured throughout with clearly defined targets being met after specified intervals.
