Hi Doctor Brittney,
Generally, admission to the course is with no entrance examination and strictly on first come first serve basis. However, when there are applications exceeding the batch size for the month, entrance exam may be required. Hence it can be advised to reserve the seat ahead of time. Within past one and half decade we have seen a stable rise in the amount of doctors getting the laparoscopic training at World Laparoscopy Hospital and also this number keeps growing every year. And being center of excellence in Minimal Access Surgery training, this is our responsibility to make a community of highly skilled surgeon who can perform safer laparoscopic surgery on their patient, as one of the most oldest and popular laparoscopic and da vinci robotic surgical institute in the world.

Before they will be selected for "Hands On" laparoscopic training at this institute, seeing the long waiting list of admission candidates are obliged to take an online entrance exam in gynecology and surgery. Candidates will likely be selected with the Admission Committee according to their final scores in online entrance exam or their previous qualification and experience. The Admission Committee is authorized for taking decision about the selection well ahead of time so that there ought not to be any difficulty in VISA.

I think three to 4 month in advance is good for national candidates and at least 6 month in advance for overseas. Foreigners has to apply for VISA also which takes time.

I applied 4 month before and I was exempted from entrance exam.

To get the best offer of flight in my opinion we should apply 6 month in advance. The process of Indian VISA also takes at-least one month.
