Hysteroscopy is considered elective surgery, with only a few conditions that require it to be performed as an emergency. It is good to limit non‐essential hysteroscopic surgical interventions in order to allocate resources where they are urgently needed.

The risk of viral dissemination in the operating theater is higher during hysteroscopy, We should always favor the use of mechanical resection technique over thermal-generating electrosurgical devices. In addition, when needed, use conscious sedation or regional anesthesia to avoid the risk of viral dissemination at the time of intubation/extubation during general gas anesthesia.

I would prefer that you should delay the hysteroscopic procedure unless it is necessary. Surgeon should protect their eye from spillage of hysteroscopic fluid and they should also wear proper N95 respirator.
