Misplaced ovary

Hello sir

I had done TLH with BSO in obese 54 year old patient for fibroid but at the end of surgery one ovary was missing & goes in between bowel.I was failed in finding that ovary. Is there any problem with that ovary in future ??

Dear Dr Shailesh

Generally we should keep the ovary in Cul De Sac to prevent displacement. Only future complication is abscess formation. Please cover the patient with antibiotics for few days.
