Dear Sir, In Da Vinci Robotic Surgery can we use all energy sources like Thunderbeat, CUSA and Argon Beamer. Currently what are the choice of different energy source available in da Vinci Robotic Surgery? |

Dear Dr Sinha Da Vinci has less choices of energy sources than laparoscopic surgery due to limitation of articulation. Following Energy sources can be used in da Vinci Surgery. 1. Monopolar 2. Bipolar 3. Harmonica Scalpel (It can only rotate but can not articulate) 4. Plasma Kinetic Energy 5. Radio Frequency Energy 6. Tissue response generator |
