Sir ... i want to ask you that for upper abdominal surgery why the incision of optical port should be only in the midline because i sow some surgens put it little lateral |

If the upper abdominal surgery target is in the midline then it is better to put the port in the midline. If the target is lateral like splenectomy you can go lateral to the midline. Please always follow the baseball diamond concept to insert an optical port. |
