Dear Dr Humina For many patients, da Vinci hysterectomy using the robotic system offer numerous potential benefits over traditional approaches to laparoscopic vaginal or open abdominal hysterectomy because of better precision, wrist articulation and 3 D vision. Particularly when performing more challenging procedures like a hysterectomy with multiple myoma or for gynecologic cancer. However, If you ask me personally we have started robotic surgery at World Laparoscopy Hospital in 2010 itself and we have perform hundreds of robotic hysterectomy but I feel more comfortable with laparoscopic hysterectomy in simple uncomplicated cases. |

In expert hand laparoscopic hysterectomy is equally safe. Our consultant are doing Total laparoscopic hysterectomy within 30 minute. |
